This position is responsible for performing high-quality IT and security technician work in the service, troubleshooting, alteration, and programming of our systems. Experience preferred; not required.

Responsibilities

  • Service — Responsible for the professional service of local network, racks, computers, digital signage, access control, CCTV, and motion/intrusion/alarm systems.
  • Troubleshooting — Diagnose variable issues on our systems and provide accurate diagnostic notes through our ticketing system.
  • Programming — Ensures systems are programmed to the highest standard and organized to work well for the client.
  • Networking — Complete high-level integration and programming of systems, using both networks and servers.
  • Training — Skillfully train and mentor internal and external partners.
  • Communication — Respectfully communicate through our ticketing system with all clients and internal staff.
  • Documentation — Complete service close-out documentation, including meetings/walkthroughs and installation quality pictures.

Requirements

  • Must earn Texas Private Security license within 90 days
  • Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights
  • Must have a current, valid Texas driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Technical Troubleshooting — Diagnose and resolve production issues, customer-reported problems, and internal technical challenges.
  • Customer Support — Interact with customers via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.
  • Root Cause Analysis — Investigate recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
  • System Maintenance — Perform regular maintenance, updates, and integrations.
  • Documentation — Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and best practices.
  • Collaboration — Work closely with other engineers, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Proactive Monitoring — Monitor systems and networks for potential issues.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing — Share knowledge and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • A proactive, analytical, and customer-focused mindset
  • Experience in a technical support or help desk role
  • Ability to work nights and weekends + 1x per week in office
  • Experience with Microsoft Server Administration
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, and network environments
  • Type 50+ words per minute
  • Must earn Texas Private Security license within 90 days
